deh syntes, der var lagt for lidt vægt på solidariteten mellem generationer
- og skrev derfor til Europa Kommisionen:
As a NGO working with social capital development and social resposibility across borders we had looked forward to this EY2012 because we thought that we should work with solidarity between generations. But as we see it, including the opening conference here in Copenhagen today, teh year is more about active aging for seniors - and thereby we loose the most important force for our societies: The bridging between generations which is crucial to the real vitality of local communities and society.
May we therefore suggest that a stronger emphasis on the solidarity aspect in the coming months. We shall like to participate in such social captial building activities.
Europa Kommisionen svarede:
Thank you for your e-mail and your support for the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations. Do stay in touch by visiting the website of the European Year from time to time: www.europa.eu/ey2012. On this website, you can subscribe to the future newsletter to be kept informed by e-mail.
A lot of emphasis on intergenerational solidarity will be put in the nextcoming months; we plan to have a big event on the 29th April called Generations st School that will bring elder people to cooperate with young generations; furthermore we will have some award schemes taking in consideration different categories. To us both aspects are equally important, so please stay tuned to our website and you will see the new developments the European Commision is planning!
